Change of procedure for used glass retrieval. / Removal of glass retrieval container located on Parc Castonguay site.
Madam, Sir,
Ville de Cookshire-Eaton will proceed to the removal of the used glass retrieval container located at the edge of the Salle Guy-Veilleux parking lot. Two reasons lead us to modify the manner we retrieve old glass:
1. Recycling and sorting facility operator Récup-Estrie asks that from now on that all glass destined for recycling be dropped in the residential recycling material bins.
2. Following the adoption of the by law relating to the modernization of curbside recycling, Ville de
Cookshire-Eaton can no longer offer a centralised glass deposit service.
The good news is that Récup-Estrie wishes to have direct access to pre-used glass by way of your recycling material bin, which streamlines as much for you as for the company the logistic of directing this valuable material to the sorting facility.
